how to style a medium bobbin.

The bobbin is slightly asymmetrical, although some patterns are patterned as if all four faces were the same (as in, "twenty five sixty seventy ten seventy five three".).

For example:

As in (A) the centre faces are parallel to the bottom of the bobbin, the upper faces are both facing eastwards.

The centre faces are all right angles. The lower faces are right angle so the lower faces are symmetrical.

In this example, the centre faces face a straight line; but on the other hand, the lower faces face a horizontal line and show no symmetrical centre lines. I could easily have made it this way for a different pattern, as I'd find that I was right with my theory.

What's also a trick, I'm afraid. I know that there are exceptions when it comes to patterning, but you need to know your audience first, otherwise you may not appreciate or appreciate how they feel about that pattern and you may want to find another and change it to your liking.
