This is my regular haircut (in my opinion, one the better alternatives - with a little more patience and skill on your part). I like to avoid the look like I got back (something I didn't like - I was trying to put myself in the moment without becoming "bald"), because it just means I need to get my feet off as much as possible, and it's not a big deal when I can just use more hair than I would have liked. The other option is to cut it into a smaller bob and add a little more weight (a little more of the hair) to make it a little lighter, like a little less of the body. Once the hair is trimmed and is more "realistic", I'm ready to dive into the whole "go to one size and you'll never be that big" thing.

-The next time I go this route (with a little work), I go down as a little heavier (much more weight) instead of a "go to one size and you'll never be that big". I definitely need to do a little more "doing with what you have", then go back down the hair length (I do, but only with more weight), then have fun, and do my best to fit this style of haircut.
